To get the file system path in the title bar, just Command+click: the Mac OS Help should help you here too, your favorite search engine as well (TUAW has had some great hints about this lately). OSX has really got me interested in switching to a mac as well. I am pretty comfortable with Unix so I think I wont have that much of a problem with the switch.
