		<description>i sent my xbox back cause of the red lights, i got it back 4 weeks later.. i turn it on, still has the red lights, i send it back again they send it back, same thing after sending it in twice, so i wrote a letter and put it in the box i sent my xbox in saying my story and that i should atleast get another year onto my live membership, and they sent me a free year membership</description>

		<description>Now, i was just searching for the issue that i just encountered seeing as xbox.com had no support for my particular issue (not the first time that&#039;s happened).
Let me give some background. I got the red ring October 28th, 2008 (it was the two sections on the left of the ring of light).  As a result, i was helped by an agent through 1-800-4MY-XBOX in sending my box in (to Mesquite, TX).  Two days later i received the shipping box, packaged it up and sent it in on October 31st.  I received my refurbished box on November 9th, 2008.
Back to this today, i just got the red ring a second time on the refurb. they sent me (this one was 1 light in the lower right section).  Let me mention that i had to call three times because the agents kept telling me they were having server difficulties and could not upload my info. (this calling business lasted for about an hour).  So when someone who was able to help me finally came to the rescue, she told me i&#039;d be sending it in.  I laughed when she told me that i&#039;d be getting a good xbox back (the last one they sent only lasted a month).  
As a result, i&#039;m now waiting three business days for my shipping box where i get to send the xbox in for two weeks.
Although my issue isn&#039;t quite the same as yours, i figured i&#039;d share so people could hear my 360 horror story as well.  I guess i&#039;ll be playing PS2 again for the next two weeks.</description>
