Just found out that Zoomr, a social photos site not-unlike Flickr, is offering free Pro accounts to bloggers. That 2.5 GB of photos for free if you have a blog… even one of those free blogger blogs.

This sounds totally worth it, and I’m going to be trying Zoomr out. I’ve been using Flickr for a long time, but I’ve been having some terrible issues with my Yahoo login that Flickr uses, and I’m unable to reset my password, so I can’t login to Flickr at all, despite being a Pro member. But, that’s another posting.

Here’s my picture from Zoomr. This is all you have to do… create an account, upload a picture, use their blogging code to paste the picture in your blog, and claim your blog on their page. See this article for instructions.

I’ll let you guys know how I like Zoomr once I’ve plaid with it.

Flickr seems to be the best photo-sharing site out there. It’s recent acquisition by Yahoo! makes sure that it’ll be around for a while.

It’s free to use for up to 200 pictures, but for only $25 a year, you get a professional account with unlimited online storage, and 2GB of uploading bandwidth per month. A great deal, if you ask me.

Here’s a direct link to my photos on Flickr

The idea is that it’s a collaborative calendar. You set your appointments, and can share some/all/none of your appointments with everyone/friends only/no one. Of course, since it’s very Web 2.0, the whole thing is in AJAX, and it supports tagging (which is nice)
You may have noticed the Calendar section on the right. You can place this HTML/Javascript badge on your site, and allow the public to see what you want them to see, and whether or not your busy.

I think it still has a ways to go, but definitely has potential. Check it out, and let me know what you think.
